For a period of 6 months Cristina Carnerero, Marina Espínola, Marta Codina and Julián Pérez will be part of Smalle Technologies thanks to an initiative called “Santander scholarships” from Banco Santander, Spanish credit institution.
The Bank, together with the Conference of Rectors of the Spanish Universities (CRUE) and the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CEPYME) offer this opportunity to undergraduate students to conduct internships in any of the registered SME’s. The objective of the program is to introduce students to the professional environment complementing their academic training, expanding their knowledge and encouraging contact with companies.
Cristina, Marina and Marta are pursuing a degree in Physics at the University of Barcelona (UB). Amongst their responsibilities they have to simulate the operation of some of Smalle’s prototypes modelling their behaviour. Julián studies Mechanical Engineering in Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC) and his work is to develop 3D drawings and analyze materials to optimize the prototypes.
