Smalle Technologies was invited to participate in the meeting of the Technical Group of the Spanish Technological Platform for Fisheries and Aquaculture (PTEPA) as innovative company in the field of marine aquaculture. The event, called ‘Reaching 4.0 Aquaculture’, was held in Madrid on May 18th at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of Maritime Fishing.
Coordinated by Javier Ojeda, chairman of APROMAR, the event began with the opening speech by Julián García Baena from the Subdirectorate for Fishing Commercialization and Aquaculture of the Spanish Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment. The meeting was focused on the analisys of the evolution of the aquaculture and the way to achieve the aquaculture 4.0. To this end, the event saw the participation of companies and institutions related to the sector, such as EVERIS, the Centro Tecnológico de Acuicultura CTAQUA, the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial CDTI, as well as Smalle Tech, which was introduced as a practical example of 4.0 company in the aquaculture sector.
