On October 17th, the Centro Tecnológico Naval y del Mar, a Technological Research Institution located in Fuente Álamo (Murcia, Spain) held the ‘Technical Seminar in Marine Renewable Energy Applications.’ Smalle Technologies was one of the invited companies, being Puerto de Bilbao, Navantia, Wedge Global, Enerocean and Plocan the rest of the participating companies and institutions. That Technical Seminar was organized in the frame of the Interreg MED PELAGOS Programme, led in Spain by the CTN.
Our R&D Engineer Javier García Álvarez made a presentation entitled ‘Wave power to supply buoys and sensors’ that was focused on the wave power electric generator that Smalle Technologies develops, the eForcis, and its evolution, the BeForcis. The presentation included photos of real deployments of the generator in different locations in Europe, and also of remote sensors for fish farms that can be supplied using that generator.
